Let an Expert Handle Your Flooring Installation

So you’ve received your order of beautiful, handcrafted wood from Zeagler Farms Hand Crafted Flooring Inc., now what? It’s time for the fun part – installation. Based in Sylvania, GA and Bluffton, SC, we offer detailed, professional installation for your convenience. For those outside of the area, we will thoroughly go over installation with you or any installer.

Below are a few tips for installation:

1. The width of our boards vary. For ¾-inch boards, the width varies between 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 inches. For ½-inch boards, the width varies between 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 inches.
2. The flooring will be one of the focal points of the home, but the widest boards will be the focal point of the floor. We recommend that you strategically place the widest boards first.
3. Fill in with random widths, nailing them down as you go.
4. There’s no set pattern in regards to widths.
5. All flooring is face nailed with antique nails and are hammered in flush with the surface of the board, not countersunk.
